It’s your ticket to remote destinations and your getaway vehicle when the weekend arrives. The all-new 2019 Honda Passport is aptly named, and it nestles into the Honda lineup between the capable CR-V and the spacious Pilot. Designed to take you anywhere and look good doing it, the Passport is going to be a hit with families and explorers alike.
We can’t wait to show you everything this vehicle has to offer when it arrives in a few months, but until then we have all the details you want. If you have any questions about the Honda lineup or want to be the first to take the Passport out for a spin when it arrives in our showroom at 2221 N Marine Boulevard, contact us below or call us 910-346-4944.
2019 Honda Passport Power
This spacious crossover is powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 that sits under the hood of the Pilot, and since it’s slightly smaller and lighter, will provide a get-up-and-go driving experience that thrills. It’s paired to a nine-speed transmission and comes with standard front-wheel drive, although all-wheel drive is available.
2019 Honda Passport Capability
This is no city dweller (but it will still be at home in an urban setting). The Passport was made to get outside and get dirty, thanks to increased ride height, approach and departure angles, and scratch-resistant exterior trim. If you need to tow gear, the Passport can haul up to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
2019 Honda Passport Trims
The entry-level Sport trim will offer 20-inch wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, rearview camera, keyless entry, and the Honda Sensing suite of safety features, plus more. Move up to the EX-L for heated front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and leather materials. The Touring adds front and rear parking sensors, heated rear seats, power tailgate, and 10-speaker stereo system, and the top-level Elite offers heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and automatic windshield wipers.
2019 Honda Passport Technology
In addition to the Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Honda Sensing offerings mentioned above, you can also add blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, wireless charging, in-car Wi-Fi connectivity, and the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System. Other features include a sunroof, hitch, and roof rack.
When will the 2019 Honda Passport be Available?
An official release date has yet to be announced, but we’re expecting the 2019 Passport will begin arriving at dealerships in the spring. Official pricing will be available soon as well, although we expect it to begin just below the $30,000 mark. Be on the lookout for details about the Adventure and Urban theme packages that will be announced later.
